Dance On

No matter what life throws you

dance on for it is spring

the frozen rivers have broken free

and the sun is playing with shadows

everywhere you look

if love has done you wrong

look the other way

for somewhere soon

a new love will come your way

so dance on

be gay and joyful and free

life is there for the taking

reach out and grab a hold

stop and smell the flowers

that have newly sprung in spring

look at the ducks, geese and gulls

as they merrily bob on the waves in the river

everywhere a new kind of beat

makes more rhythm for your feet

so dance on

merrily and be light in step

the music of spring

is a joyful refrain

reach out toward the loving hands

of family and friends

show them your new found beat

and dance on

dance on

while the spring shows you so may wonderful things

bare trees still frozen in winter poses

will be waving their leaves in the warm breezes

plant a huge smile on your face

and dance on, dance on, dance on
